Spring with stripes

Here in Finland should be four seasons. I think there is only two: too long winter and lukewarm summer. And rain between them. That's why "spring" is always late, and so are the collections.

But here they are, colorful, beautiful and striped spring collections!

Louis Vuitton bag. I usually don't like yellow, but this bag made me to.

Marimekko dress! Always, always remember it! By the way, I made a mistake: the collection that I saw in Helsinki was autumn, not spring. Too bad, I missed them.

Also by Marimekko. I have always loved big jewels.

Coco Chanel shoe. There was lot of pearls and black-white clothes, so they didn't really fit my "colorful" spring.

Dolce & Gabbana dress, also black and white. D & G is really colorful, this was probably only composed cloth in whole collection!

My own spring isn't started yet. We still need quilted jacked and mittens. ( -10 celsius outside. Nice.)

Emergency situation: Surprise visitors

My godmother and her husband visited us yesterday with four hours advance warning. Four hours to clean up, bake and get dressed. Impossible, is it? Well at least it felt so. Luckily they were late an hour, so we had time to do (almost) everything.

Cooking was the most important matter, because my godmother always bakes a lot when we visit there. So we made up emergency decision: 

Pancakes. Heart-shaped 'cause the Valentines say. 

And with them something weird but tasty apple-thing

First peal the slice the apples, then fry them with butter, sugar and cinnamon. Super good.

And of course, berries:

                                               ...With some chocolate topping and cream.

And Voila!
